Floor, born on January 21 1989 in Valthe got her first pony when she was 4 years old, the naughty shetlander Betsy. After many lessons from her mother Loes Vos, she became a member of Ponyclub Exorva in Exloo. From the age of six she started riding competitions in dressage and jumping. She has jumped at M level. Eventually, her preference was still out for dressage.
Floor has trained several horses and ponies to the ZZ-Licht level and the Subtop. She received numerous regional and national titles. Now she has 20 regional championships on her name.
At twelve years old she went beside the pony on her first horse, the KWPN gelding Naciente (Hinault x Nooitgedacht). Naciente was very sensible, but with patience and perseverance she has many successes with this horse. She has reached with Naciente the ZZ-Licht level, she has also started him several times successful by the Juniors. Naciente was sold to Italy. After Naciente Floor got several young dressage horses at her disposal which are very well attended at national competitions and championships.
One of these horses was the four year old KWPN gelding Tornaxs (Cabochon x Le Val Blanc). Floor started this horse in the L level. She has successfully trained this horse to the Small Tour/Intermediate 1, also she started Tornaxs by the Young Riders. January 2009 they were included in the B frame for Young Riders, 4 months later, they were included in the A Framework for Young Riders. With Tornaxs Floor achieved national and international successes. Also on championships they were very successful.
In 2008 Floor has her International Instructors Passport achieved during the training Masterclass at NHB Deurne. After that she studied Specialist Masterclass Instructor and passed the course in the year 2009. With this studie she focuses next to the training of horses also on teaching riders at all levels, from young to old. She is also trainer at the Youth Incentive Plan (JSP) of Drenthe.
Since January 2010 Floor runs her own Dressage Stable. Here she focuses on training the horses and riding competitions, teaching, organizing training weekends and giving clinics and dressage test training.
